How much does it cost to install central heating?
To install a radiator central heating system in an existing three-bedroom home, you can expect to spend from $9,000 to $12,000.
To install an underfloor system during the building process, you can expect to pay from $10,000 to $12,000 for a three-bedroom house.
How much are the running costs for central heating?
Operating costs are impossible to quantify because everyone's heating needs are different. However, we can tell you that on average, gas is more than three times cheaper than electricity.
It's also impossible to compare the cost of running EverWarm Central Heating with a heat pump or a wood fire because these are not designed to heat the whole home.
How efficient is central heating?
EverWarm central heating is far more efficient than any other heating system due to the combination of water, which is four times more efficient to heat than air, and a large thermal mass (either radiators or a concrete floor). This quickly, gently, and evenly heats the area.

We install high-efficiency Bosch boilers that use Condensing Technology to recover waste heat which is usually expelled through the flue, making the boiler more than 90% energy efficient.
Why should I get EverWarm Central Heating? What’s wrong with other home heating options?
Heat pumps are expensive to buy, install and use. They’re noisy, and notoriously inefficient, especially when the temperature drops, which is when you need them most. They’re bulky, obtrusive and, amazingly, are frequently located high on a wall. Hot air rises. So they mainly heat the ceiling. And they only heat one area of the house.
Woodburners might be fun to gaze at, but they can be a pain to light, and slow to provide a decent, controllable level of warmth. They’re dirty, you need to pay for a constant source of fuel, they’re environmentally unfriendly and – you guessed it – they only heat one area of the house.
These days anything that runs on electricity can cost you a fortune in power bills, and that’s especially true of heating. We estimate that heating an entire house, or even the main living areas and bedrooms, will cost between three and four times as much as gas-fired EverWarm Central Heating.
What control will I have over room temperatures at different times of day and night?
Absolute control.
EverWarm can install a wide range of controllers and thermostats from basic to a new generation of super-intelligent controllers. These compensate for the weather, calculate the time needed for the boiler to achieve the required temperature, and have many other exciting features.
Can EverWarm Central Heating also provide hot water?

I already have various forms of heating in my house. Will an EverWarm Central Heating system make these redundant?
Not necessarily. We can tailor-make a system to take your existing installations into account.
Do I need reticulated gas to install EverWarm Central Heating
You can use either reticulated gas or LPG bottled gas.
I’d like to install an Everwarm Central Heating system, but I’m worried about the mess and disruption.
Our fully-trained installers will minimise the disruption to your home, devise the least invasive method, and ensure that they will leave it as they found it – but a lot warmer!
How long does it usually take to install an EverWarm Central Heating system?
Between 2-5 days. We book your installation for a time that works for you, and can work around your routines to minimise disruption.
Do radiators use a lot of water?
Not at all. Today’s radiators need a low water content. This ensures a fast heat-up and a high output, ensuring the efficient generation of comfortable warmth. Once the radiator has been heated the water returns to the boiler and is then recirculated in an efficient continuous process.
How safe are radiators?
Modern radiators are made from high quality rolled steel plate and thoroughly pressure tested during the manufacturing process. There are no naked flames and they won’t burn you if you touch them.
Do you offer a full after sales service?
Absolutely. When you install an Everwarm Central Heating system you get the entire package, from tailor-made design through installation to service and maintenance.
Is EverWarm Central Heating an authorised Bosch installer?
Yes! EverWarm's friendly team are Bosch-trained service technicians and provide a full professional service for Bosch Hydronic Technology heating and gas hot water systems.
Is Everwarm Central Heating recognised by any trade institutions?
EverWarm's team are fully authorised by the New Zealand Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board. We are certified plumbers and gasfitters which is the highest qualification available in these trades. This means that we  are responsible for the testing, verification and supervision of plumbing and gasfitting work. 
EverWarm's team is fully trained and authorised to provide certification of your gas work. 
Gasfitting certificates are a legal document - we provide a signed copy of the certificate to you and the Board, and keep a copy for our records.
